Custom New Tab Page

Open any webpage or local file when you create a new browser tab — simple, fast, and fully customizable.

What is Custom New Tab Page?

Custom New Tab Page lets you replace the default new tab page with any URL you want. Instead of seeing the standard Chrome new tab, you can go directly to your favorite search engine, email inbox, productivity tool, or even a local HTML file on your computer.

When you clear the setting, your browser returns to its original new tab page — nothing is changed permanently.
